Electrical showers can be
ideal in certain situations. They require a mains water supply and a
large electrical supply, typically requiring a 10mm cable.
If you already have high usage, eg. a large electric cooker, your
electrical system may not have the capacity to accommodate an electric
shower. If not, and you want to balance your energy between gas and
electrically heated hot water, this could be a good choice.
It has the added advantage that if you have a gas boiler breakdown you
can still have a hot shower!
